The Chegg R & R H1-2016 – Rewards and Recognition Meet

Successfully ending H1 2016 and having embarked on H2 2016 – that time of the year when all our transformative dynamism and energy gets in and we tend to pick on the vibes of all the stuff in the shift, Chegg India held an awards ceremony to encourage and felicitate the top performers of H1 2016.

True! Award functions commemorate the mettle, substance, talent, accomplishment, and attainment, be it that of an individual, a team, a firm, or a nation.

5th Aug 2016 (Friday) – 2.30 PM. 

Chegg India held an awards ceremony for its employees – Rewards & Recognition Ceremony, to acknowledge its Star Performers of H1-2016. It was a delightful event. All the employees enthusiastically took part in the meeting, with a lot of zest.

The event kick started with a catchy power point presentation by our Manager – People Support, HR – Mohammed Imran, that displayed Individual Excellence and Achievement Awards and Best Department Award – H1 2016.

Awards add the much required moral boost. The term ‘Award winning’, in itself, carries an undertone of repute and proficiency. Rewards are indices of merit-based performances – a tribute to the dedication and diligence of employees that enhance the self-esteem of the awardees, making them proud of their work. Such recognition works wonders; the acknowledgement and appreciation for the hard work put in, enhances individuals to get better each passing day.

All the winners – from both our Delhi and Vizag bases, were awarded Certificates of Excellence that will adorn their personal Wall of Fame.

The Best Department Award – H1 2016 was bagged by the Computer Science Engineering team, with Biology and Physics team, closely on the heels, as the first and the second runners-up. It was a mark of respect and recognition, for the laudable and impressive performance, by the whole team, in unison.

Managers and all the respective team leads, spoke on the occasion, bringing out the best of the awardees into the limelight.

The Director, Mr. Sam Oguri, reflected on the importance of aspiration, industry, accomplishment and achievement, and captivated the audience with a short but powerful speech, gearing up the employees for a challenging H2 2016.

The meeting ended on a successful note amidst huge applause and loud cheering by the crowd.

Cheggsters – looking forward to yet another exciting and challenging H2 2016, vying with one another, keeping in mind, the personal goals, departmental goals and at large, the organizational goals to accomplish.
